Music Posters
From acts as big as The Beatles to as small as whichever student band was playing in a basement that week, music has influenced my work. Often calling for illustration, I get to exercise my favorite part of design. I’ve coated paper in ink, meticulously manipulated Illustrator, and eagerly taken to iPad’s Procreate. Like music is to many, I believe illustration is the heart of design.
The Fab Four
As a lifetime lover of all things The Beatles, I created a series of posters showcasing my favorite lyrics. While they hold together as a set, each piece is unique to its song, playing with illustration and symbolism to create meaningful visuals.
College Shows
Throughout my time in college, with no musical talent of my own, I found a way to contribute to the lively student band scene I loved so dearly. My concert posters ranged in style, genre, and purpose as I was discovering my niche. But most importantly, I was introduced to the idea of my work being seen and used, and that was a feeling to chase.
